General Information: The only Powerboat that
Daum designed was the Monaco. This boat came in three versions. The
first, as shown in pictures below, has the clear speedboat sitting
on a ocean blue, green, and white pate de verre wave. The second
version is similiar with the speedboat on a simple clear plexiglass
base.
The
third version
came without any base at all. The speedboat is identical in every
version. Note: I have not seen the second version documented in any
Daum catalog or price list. It is possible some retailers created
the plexiglass base as a non-official version. The ocean green wave
is the most desireable in that it gives the greatest
illusion
of
speed.
